In this course participants will tour a local cooperative gallery and discover basics about the three mediums: Pastel, Watercolor, Acrylic. They will also create and take away at least one small painting or greeting card using materials provided. No experience is necessary.
Jen Cavanaugh is a retired vocal music teacher who decided - with a great start from SOAR - to take up painting. She has taken classes in watercolor and pastel, but is largely self-taught. Born and raised in Potsdam, she and her husband now live in Waddington where she is an artist member of the Gallery at Lake St Lawrence Arts.
