The course will cover modern apps that can improve enjoyment and safety. The second session will involve an optional slow-paced hike appropriate to the group.

Tom Wheeler is presently chapter chair of the local ADK chapter. A former president of the Adirondack Forty-Sixers, a former president of ADK, he has hiked all of the northeastern peaks above 4000 feet and has done all of the ADK high peaks in winter.
