In 2025 the Mediterranean diet was ranked Best Diet for Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Gut Health, Mental Health, Inflammation and many other health conditions. Each session will highlight a component: Healthy Fats, Fruit/Vegetables/Herbs, Whole Grains, Beans/Peas/Lentils, Fermented Dairy and Seafood. We will be preparing and sharing a meal during each session. Participants will receive a booklet including all recipes. Send a $35 check, written to Linda Reece, with your registration form to cover the cost of food.

Linda Reece is a retired Occupational Therapist. She has taught cooking classes in conjunction with Maple Rock B&B and presented Prevent Type 2 Diabetes classes for the Health Initiative. She received her certification to provide the Mediterranean Diet program from Oldways, an educational nonprofit that promotes heritage diets as healthy, sustainable ways of eating.

Special Instructions:

1. Send a $35 check, written to Linda Reece, with your registration form to cover the cost of food. 2. Optional to bring: beverage, apron and knife for chopping vegetables. 3. There will be NO CLASS on October 6, 2026.
