Architectural Psychology [F-26-9]

This course covers the interaction between built or managed environments and human behavior and well-being.Topics include evidence-based design, ambient conditions, ergonomics, and the elusive sources of sense of place. Short walking tours will supplement classroom discussions.

Thomas Greene earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology from Colorado State University and recently retired after teaching more than 40 years at St. Lawrence University. Tom co-authored an environmental psychology textbook and has participated in the planning and design of a number of buildings and spaces.
