A personal look at Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. He was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence, a scientist, a lawyer, a farmer, an inventor and the founder of the University of Virginia . We will explore his multifaceted life, his residence, Monticello and his getaway home at Poplar Forest.

Jane Amelotte has had an avid interest in Thomas Jefferson for decades, developing an extensive library. She has traveled to Monticello and Poplar Forest. She will be sharing her knowledge and perspective of this visionary, one of our founding fathers.
