This course will cover the project by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and Edson A. Martin's Racquette River Construction Company, including the construction of six dams and five powerhouses (Carry Falls, Stark, Blake, Rainbow, Five Falls, and South Colton) as well as an access road along the river from Stark to South Colton. The community of Hollywood disappeared under the flood waters.
