This class will focus on the histories and current issues for the diversity of North American Native Peoples. Issues of interest from the class can be included.

Susan Stebbins is a retired professor from the SUNY Potsdam Anthropology department.  She taught a variety of Cultural Anthropology classes as well as classes which focused on Native America, including Native Peoples, Women in Native America, and Indian Images.  She has conducted research and published in the areas of Native American Women, Native American Education and Native Peoples in Popular Culture.
