This course will provide an overview about the parts of the human brain and how it functions. Recent research about memory, emotions, and keeping our brains healthy will be shared.

Ginger Thomas is an educational consultant with Teacher’s Desk Consultants. She has taught students at the elementary, secondary, college, and post-graduate level. Currently she provides staff development training workshops for teachers, social workers, and other in the human services fields. Ginger finds research on the brain intriguing and illuminating.
