The course will focus on the Beatles as innovators of pop music. The work of each of the Beatles in developing a new sound or lyric, along with novel methods of production, will be accomplished by listening to and analyzing individual songs. The comments of the Beatles about their own work will be incorporated in the course.

Richard Bradshaw is a retired history teacher, musician and an avid Beatles fan. He lives in Colton with his wife, Kathleen, and enjoys camping, hiking and working with his border collie, Tosh. He is the father of three daughters, two of whom live in the area, and the grandfather of three children.
