This course will describe cruising on Long Island Sound, the Hudson River, The Erie Canal, and the St.Lawrence River. It includes one cruise from Chicago to New Orleans, one from Quebec City to Newfoundland, and one on the Intra-coastal waterway from Florida to Rhode Island.
Arthur Johnson is an Emeritus Professor of History, SUNY Potsdam 1968-2012, guest lecturer aboard the vessels of the American Canadian Caribbean Line (now defunct), founder of Dinner Murder Company of Grasse River Players) ADK 46er, member of Steamship Historical Society, Friends of the Potsdam Museum Board. Dissertation topic: Steam Navigation between Boston and The Maritimes. Anne Johnson's husband (she insists on that.)
