Learn to deconstruct wool garments and transform them into raw material for hooked rugs. Participants will not be making an actual project, but everyone will have a chance to experiment with the technique of rug hooking. The presenter will share many tips she has learned about using fabric from old clothes. She will also talk about dyeing wool and painting the back of your finished rug with latex to create a cleanable rug.

Mary Ann Owen is a professional metal artist. Rug hooking has been a hobby of hers for the past 10 years.
