This course offers a discussion of the mammal species which occur in our area. Special emphasis will be given to those which may be endangered, those which are a problem species, and those of special or popular interest.

Roy Horst holds a Ph.D. in physiology and ecology. He is a professor emeritus of biology at SUNY Potsdam, and a life member of the American Society of Mammalogy. Roy is also a founder and life member of the North American Society for Bat Research. He has given many SOAR lectures in the past.
