Print Info

Adirondack (and North Country) books from the past provide a rich perspective on this unique region. Locating and acquiring these items can be an entertaining challenge. Topics will include early exploration, adventures, and recreation.

Tom Wheeler has been collecting Adirondack material for the past 20 years and has a nice collection. He is a past president of both the Adirondack Mountain Club and of the Adirondack 46ers. He is a graduate of Carleton College and Cornell Law School. He wrote three chapters in the 46ers most recent book and has had a couple of articles published in ADK’s Adirondac and in the biannual magazine of the Adirondack 46ers Adirondack Peeks.
