Explore the deep history of the Adirondacks and challenge the common misconception that this has been an area of empty mountain wilderness.

Tim Messner is interested in the relationship between people and the environment. Since moving to Potsdam in 2012, he has been researching the ancient peoples of the Adirondacks by analyzing the tools and technologies they left behind.
